The Content Studio installation program allows you select the database to use when installing a new site. However this database server MUST be the same as the first server.
All sites are connected to a database via a ConnectionID. When a request arrives Content Studio looks up this ID in the Content Studio database on the server that was first used to get the underlying connection information to the database for the actual site. If the Content Studio database is installed on another server that the initial Content Studio still looks up this information on the initial server even though it actually exists on another server. In best case Content Studio simply will crash but in worst case the site can be corrupted.
